Listty is a third-party Spotify app created to make music discovery effortless. By leveraging Spotify’s API and data sets, Listty recommends new or lesser-known tracks that closely match each user’s listening tastes. Our motto, “For the users, by the users,” shaped the core idea behind the product: users create small curated playlists called Listties, and these playlists fuel personalized suggestions for other listeners with similar preferences. During my time at Listty, I redesigned the iOS app, built the Web app from the ground up, and maintained the design system. One of my primary responsibilities was defining the complete UX and UI for the Web experience, and in parallel, I developed and designed the Sound First discovery concept for the iOS app, a way of exploring music that prioritizes audio interaction over traditional visual-led browsing.
